Geospatial Strategic Business Plan
for the State of New Jersey
The Geospatial Strategic Business Plan for the State of New Jersey provides guidance for maintaining the State's spatial data holdings, modernization of NJGIN, and governance of geospatial activity and initiatives. Based on comprehensive feedback from the geospatial user community, the plan details investment priorities for the development and implementation of business practices and technologies to support the State's spatial data infrastructure.
The plan is a revision of the 2002 New Jersey Spatial Data Infrastructure Implementation: I-Team Strategic Plan, updating the original plan's existing content and adding essential content not in the original plan. An integrated business plan was also developed to identify the roles and responsibilities of state government agencies, create strategies to support data stewards and address the needs of the entire stakeholder community.
The elevation section of the plan was updated in September 2015.
